Rawalakot: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has decided to establish an Information Technology (IT) excellence center in Rawalakot, according to a news story published in the leading newspaper on July 13.

The AJK IT Board has acquired the land for setting up the IT excellence center and has finalised arrangements for the launch of the centre. As per the details, the center will focus on providing digital educational excellence in the province. This initiative will promote IT activities and enhance the potential of IT professionals.
IT Board Director General Dr Khalid revealed that 800 students will be trained in 3 years. In the beginning, the center will offer courses on UI/UX Design, E-commerce, Web Design and Development, Cyber Security Mobile App Design & Development, and Digital Marketing. Later, modern technology courses will be introduced in the programme.

Moreover, it was mentioned that all the courses will be free and classes in be started in August. According to the details, online registration has started and the last date for registration is July 24. The classes at the IT Excellence Center will be held 5 times a week and each class will be 4 hours long.
