Islamabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has approved 11 development projects, amounting to PKR 6 billion, in different districts of the state, according to news published on February 14.

A meeting of the Cabinet Development Committee (CDC) was held, which was chaired by Prime Minister of AJK Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan. The meeting approved five projects for physical planning and housing, worth PKR 3 billion, four projects for public works and one project each for health and education. The physical planning and housing sector projects include:
- Completion of remaining facilities in the reconstruction of the Supreme Court and High Court
- Upgradation of the water supply scheme in Palindri of District Sidhnuti for PKR 7,404 million
- Greater Water Supply Scheme Hattian Bala, at the total cost of PKR 437.1 million
- Installation of an elevator in the High Court Building Muzaffarabad, worth PKR 426.65 million Water Supply Scheme Tehsil Headquarters of Hospital Chachoi in District Kotli for PKR 663.3 million
- Completion of remaining work on Water Supply Scheme Phase-I at Rawlaot for the outstanding work of Darek Dam, at the cost of PKR 866.8 million

In communication and Works, the approved projects include:
- Remodelling of city squares in the capital city Muzaffarabad
- Construction of RCC Bridge on Salar Nala and Panji, Kalri Kasgma Road in District Bhimber, worth PKR 531.07 million
- Upgradation of Jandala Pir Gili Road Phase-I in Bhimbar district
- Reconditioning of the remaining part of Kotli Nikyal Road in Kotli district, at the cost of PKR 488.7 million
