Shangla: The government’s spokesperson on trade and investment Nawaz Mehmood Khan stated that people who owned the land that was used for the construction of the 27-kilometer long Dandai-Chakesar Road will be compensated soon, according to news sources.

While in a press briefing, Nawaz Mehmood Khan said that he met with the Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and appraised him about the 100 people affected by the construction of the road. In response, he revealed that the CM has directed the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shangla Imran Hussain Ranjha to submit an immediate report in this regard.

Furthermore, Nawaz Mehmood Khan said that he also spoke to the CM about granting tehsil status to the Makhzoi locale of Puran, and order the rehabilitation of the building of the degree college in Alpuri. He remarked on the dilapidated status of the structure, and expressed his resolve to bring the attention of the authorities towards its reconstruction.
