Rawalpindi: The City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has warned people visiting Murree in the winter season to exercise precaution as the roads of the popular hill station are expected to get choked during snowfall to avoid the unforeseen incident, a news source reported on December 22.

The news source mentioned that the CTP has issued an advisory for tourists. Under the advisory, the tourists are requested not to break the line and stay in the line to avoid congestion. Additionally, tourists are advised to use petrol-based cars instead of CNG-based ones as the latter causes problems in the winter season.

Moreover, the tourists are asked to enter Murree with full fuel tanks and avoid travelling to the city after 8 PM. The authorities have requested not to bring infants and asthma patients to the hill station to avoid creating difficulties for them. A spokesperson of CTP (whose name was not disclosed) disclosed that the traffic wardens will be deployed in the city on special duty to ensure smooth traffic during snowfall.
