Islamabad: Advisor to Prime Minister on Civil Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan instructed the relevant authorities to complete all arrangements at Islamabad International airport to avoid any difficulties for passengers, according to a news report. He was chairing a meeting on the new airport.
Khan also directed the civil aviation officials to provide all facilities to airlines and airport staff. He was briefed in detail about the arrangements at the Islamabad International Airport. Officials of various airlines also briefed him about services they will provide to the passengers and other details regarding flight operation, cargo, kitchen and baggage handling.
The advisor stated that flights will begin in the new airport from April 20 and instructed that information about flight timings and flight routes should be updated on the official website.
