Kohat: KDA Town Project Director Sanaullah Marwat on Tuesday announced that the Kohat Development Authority (KDA) Town administration has dispatched notices to the illegal offices and commercial areas in the project, according to a news report.

While addressing the residents of the town at his office, Director Markwat referred to the illegal offices and commercial areas as a ‘permanent nuisance for the residents’. He announced that now that the notices had been issued, legal action would be taken against these illegal commercial buildings.
Additionally, he assured the gathered audience that strict action would also be taken against the keepers of cattle in the locality. He said providing a clean and tranquil environment to the owners of more than 6,000 housing units was essential.

The director added that the establishment of banks, educational institutions, offices of NGOs, government and private firms in KDA Town was illegal under the law, and that they had been served with final notices after which they would be taken to the courts.
