As a part of the resolution for the problem, the authorities have decided to construct an underground water storage tank in Qarshi Park, at a cost of PKR 50 million. This facility is expected to be able to store up to 11 million gallons of water. Reportedly, two kanals of the Parks & Horticulture Authority’s land will be used for the construction of this water reservoir.
