Lahore: The Transportation Department of Punjab has decided to acquire additional land for the Orange Line Metro Train Project (OLMTP), according to a news source. A revised PC-1 for land acquisition will be presented to the Punjab Planning and Development Board today.
Funds worth PKR 940 million will be spent on acquiring land in the area falling between Chauburji and Ali Town, Samnabad and Yateem Khana, and on Raiwind Road and Multan Road near Shahnoor Studio.
Under Packages III and IV of the OLMTP, PKR 420.43 million and PKR 1.68 billion will be spent on acquiring more land, respectively.
