Peshawar: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is stepping in to ensure the timely completion of te TransPeshawar Bus Rapid Transit project, despite administrative difficulties, according to a news report. The ADB has already loaned USD 350 million for the BRT project.
The officials from ADB stated that the buses would start arriving form July, despite any possible issues and the project would be completed as per the given timeline. The Pink Buses project was to initiate its operations in Mardan and Abbottabad, but is now going to be operate in Peshawar under the “stop-gap arrangement” to facilitate commuters in the provincial capital due to delay in the arrival of vehicles.
