Gondal ordered that the names of the officers involved in not declaring their rating areas should be sent to the director general’s office as soon as possible. The practice has caused financial losses worth millions of rupees to the ETNCD.
From the last two years, property tax hasn’t been collected from areas not declared as rating areas by the local government. The survey in this regard was conducted two years ago, but many properties remain to be declared in the rating areas.
