Faisalabad: The Anti-corruption Establishment (ACE)’s wing in Faisalabad recently conducted two operations against land grabbers in the city on directives of ACE Punjab Director General Muhammad Gohar Nafees, a news source reported. As per officials, the authority was successful in retrieving 12 kanals and 13 marlas of state land in the city.

One operation was conducted to reclaim four kanals and four marlas of state land situated on Sargodha Road in Chak 120/JB, Faisalabad district. This chunk of land had previously remained under the illegal possession of Muhammad Jamil, who had surrounded it with a boundary wall. The wall was demolished during the operation conducted in collaboration with the revenue staff.

The land reclaimed through this operation is valued at PKR 588 million. The total value of all the land retrieved during the two recent operations amounts to PKR 1.264 billion.
