Faisalabad: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) recently managed to retrieve 30 kanals of state land in Faisalabad — amounting to PKR 230 million, according to news sources. Reportedly, the operation to retrieve the illegally occupied land was led by Director ACE Imran Raza Abbasi, and the state land was recovered from Chak 225-RB of the city.
As per the information available, the land grabbers had cultivated various crops on the state land without obtaining a permit or lease beforehand. This prompted ACE to take strict action against this illegal occupation, as they have been conducting several such operations recently.
