Lahore: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE)’s Lahore-Region-A has launched an investigation into an alleged case of illegal occupation of a land-piece said to be originally intended for the development of a children’s park – located in a housing scheme within the city’s Johar Town locale, according to news sources.
The said land area, which spans over 10 kanals, had reportedly been used as a children’s playing field for many years before recently being overrun by several alleged land grabbers – who, thereon, started construction activities on its premises.
