Multan: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of Multan has handed over pending cases for over 100 illegal housing schemes to the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), according to a news source.

For this purpose, the Multan Development Authority (MDA) Urban Planning Deputy Director Khawaja Waqas was recently given the additional charge of the focal person.
According to a NAB spokesperson, the authority has launched an investigation against developers of over 200 illegal housing schemes in the division, out of which it has now handed over cases for over 100 schemes to the Anti-Corruption Department.

Moreover, the Anti-Corruption officers have analysed the data of these societies multiple times, while the MDA Urban Planning Wing has also scrutinised the records.
