Wazirabad: Wazirabad Assistant Commissioner (AC) Waqar Hussain has said that he is committed to making Wazirabad a model city in terms of cleanliness, a news source reported. He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting.

The AC said that he would not tolerate any negligence with regard to the cleanliness drive in different areas. He also indicated to commence initiate an anti-encroachment operation in a bid to help improve traffic flow in the city.
He also received briefing on measures the concerned departments were taking to improve conditions of several commercial markets and public parks in the city.

In response, Hussain issued directives to the concerned officials to coordinate with residents of these areas for improving civic facilities. He also requested the citizens to help these officers make Wazirabad a model city.
