Lahore: The Lahore-Abdul Hakeem section of motorway (M-3) will be inaugurated on Sunday at the Jaranwala Interchange, a news source reported.

Officials of the National Highway Authority (NHA) are finalising arrangements to this effect. A plaque is being fixed at the interchange to commemorate the event.
Officials expected to attend the inauguration ceremony include Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, Communications Minister Murad Saeed, Minister for Prosecution Zaheer-ud-Din, and MNA Malik Nawab Sher.

The Lahore-Abdul Hakeem section reportedly comprises eight interchanges, 35 overhead bridges, and 16 underpasses. It is pertinent to mention that M-3 is considered a strategically important project of the economic corridor (CPEC) project.
