Abbottabad: City Station Commander Brigadier Khan Amjad Azad on Thursday revealed that Abbottabad would soon have a swimming pool and gymnasium facility, a news source reported. He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani.

The KP Assembly speaker met with the station commander at his office and requested for the provision of land for the said facilities. According to details, the construction of the gymnasium and swimming pool attraction will cost PKR 370 million.

Azad assured the speaker that he would ensure the provision of land for this purpose behind the Monalisa Restaurant. He added that the gymnasium and swimming pool attraction for men and women would be separate. He revealed that the construction of the gymnasium would cost PKR 250 million, while that of the swimming pool would cost PJR 120 million.
