Karachi: The Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) aims to launch a ‘Pakistan is Open for Business’ campaign, in order to promote investment opportunities in Pakistan at international forums; reported a news source. To manage and run the campaign, ABAD will use its corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds.

In making preparations for the project and its execution, the association has completed its homework. During the campaign, ABAD will provide funds for the construction of educational institutes, sports facilities, public parks, and important road avenues.

Talking to the news media, ABAD Chairman Muhammad Hassan Bakhsi said that in-line with the slogan of ‘Pakistan is Open for Business’, ABAD intends to help the world know about the potentially rewarding investment opportunities currently available in Pakistan – and especially in Karachi.

Bakhsi also said that with the help of its members, ABAD aims to make Pakistan meet modern housing needs more efficiently. This, according to him, will gradually reduce the housing shortfall in the country.
