Karachi: The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) on Tuesday (November 30) has asked Governor Sindh Imran Ismail to set up a one-window operation for issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for real estate projects in Karachi, according to news published on Wednesday (December 1).

After the decision of the Supreme Court to demolish private projects, ABAD seeks a plan to regularise illegal structures in Sindh. A delegation led by Chairman ABAD Mohsin Sheikhani met with the governor to discuss the issues faced by the construction industry.
In the meeting, it was discussed to set up a regularisation commission for housing and building projects in Sindh just like Punjab. ABAD chairman demanded a one-window operation for NOC that will be beneficial for real estate developers and prospective property buyers.

Moreover, the ABAD delegation also expressed the desire to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan to convey grievances of the construction industry.
