Lahore: The Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) has expressed its willingness to launch high-rise real estate projects in Lahore; in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan – a news source reported.

On Thursday, an ABAD delegation visited the offices of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to this effect, and held important meetings with several senior officials of the civic agency.
LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran stated that a number of Karachi-based developers intend to launch several high-rise projects in the Islamabad. The delegation was also briefed on LDA rules and regulations with respect to high-rises.
The LDA official said that vertical constructions should not be limited to residential projects. High-rises also comprise hotels, offices, malls, and restaurants. He added that ABAD was in a good position to develop its projects on plots provided by the civic agency at reasonable prices.

He further informed that the LDA was devising policies that would pave the way for the construction of apartments and zones dedicated for high-rise buildings in the city.
