Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has once again extended the tender deadline for the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport, as reported on May 17.

According to the details, the government aims to generate funds through this outsourcing initiative, extending the deadline by two months to July 15. Companies from Turkey, the UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and other countries have expressed interest in the project.

Initially, the CAA announced the tender in March with a deadline of May 15. However, due to a lack of sufficient interest from bidders, the deadline has now been extended. This tender seeks applications for the outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport for a period of 15 years, with interested bidders required to submit their applications and a fee of Rs5,000 by November 8.
