For retrieving the CDA-acquired land in Sector E-12, the drive commenced over the weekend. The authorities concerned demolished illegal constructions in the area to clear up to 500-kanals of land. Additionally, they razed temporary residential structures to occupy a further land area of 150-kanals.
To avoid any undesirable confrontations, the authorities had Rangers Police officials garrisoned at the location during the ongoing operation. Furthermore, the CDA has confirmed its commitment towards continuing the anti-encroachment drive for demolishing illegal constructions on government-owned land.

To resolve these concerns, the civic body has formed a camp office of the Land & Rehabilitation Directorate in Sector E-12. This installation will be responsible for on-the-spot resolution of problems faced by the aggrieved parties.
