Lahore: Lahore Development Authority has sealed 31 buildings, including 4 schools, for defaulting on commercialisation fees.
Of the four schools, one reported sealing of the premises while the students were studying inside. Contrastingly, LDA rejected the report, claiming that the properties were sealed at about 6am, almost 2 hours before the commencement of classes.
The Lahore Development Authority said that the defaulters were issued warning notices prior to the sealing of the buildings. The authority further claimed that it broke the seals of 14 properties after the owners deposited the dues.
