Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (PM) on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Thursday said that about 300,000 youths had registered themselves within the last two days for the Corona Relief Tiger Force, a news source reported.

As per the publication, Usman Dar called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and informed him about the progress on the registration of youths for the Tiger Force. He informed that people from peripheral areas had also shown interest in becoming part of the force established to combat the novel coronavirus.

In a separate development, former spokesperson to the Punjab CM Shahbaz Gill informed that about 5000 thousand women had also registered themselves for the Corona Relief Tiger Force. The force members will be assigned the duty of distributing food items among low-income households during the coronavirus lockdown.

Aspirants can apply for the Corona Relief Tiger Force through the citizen portal system. The registration will remain open till April 10.
