Islamabad: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Lieutenant General (retired) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Tuesday announced 250 new job openings for the Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project, a news source reported.

He stated that as many as 250 new jobs of various categories for Orange Train Lahore were available. The SAPM also told the applicants to submit their job applications for the various posts announced to careers@olmrts.com.pk.

Bajwa had previously announced that information about all the jobs and projects announced or started under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would be uploaded to the project’s website. He made the announcement in the wake of fraudulent social media campaigns relating to the project. At the same time, he advised people to ignore fake news related to CPEC and refer to the website for authentic information.
