Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) cleared a total of 24 new development projects on 12th February, 2018. The projects are worth PKR 200 billion, including 10 larger projects worth PKR 169 billion referred to the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) for formal approval. The remaining 12 smaller development projects are worth PKR 20 billion and have been approved by CDWP.
Overall, 15 projects are under the category of transport and communication sector, of which six have been referred to ECNEC for approval.
Among the various other projects, a feasibility study was also carried out for engineering design and preparation of tender documents of Murunj Dam Project, costing PKR 371.7 million.
