Multan: The eighth annual Mango Festival, titled “Eco Smart Mango Production,” starts today and will run for two days at the Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, as reported on July 24.

The event will showcase over 100 mango varieties, feature a mango dish-making competition, and include an informative seminar on cutting-edge technology for mango cultivation and value addition.
Event organizer Dr. Mubashir Mehdi shared that more than 50 esteemed growers will present their finest mangoes at the festival. The festival will be inaugurated by Punjab Minister for Agriculture, Syed Ashiq Hussain Shah.
In addition to mango-related competitions, the festival will feature a poetic sitting, musical performances, and cultural activities, offering visitors an engaging and entertaining experience. As always, the festival is expected to draw large crowds and provide a delightful experience for families
