Lahore: Commissioner Zulfiqar Ghumman recently stated that the city administration had retrieved a total of 1,532 kanals of land belonging to overseas Pakistanis, a news source reported on February 17.
He issued instructions to relevant departments to continue with the action against land grabbers, further directing the officials concerned to reconfirm state land record within three days and present the report to him.
He added that satisfactory operation is taking place against land grabbers and the provincial and local authorities will meet their target.
He further stated that all the complaints submitted by overseas Pakistanis against illegal possession of their land have been resolved and a total of 1,532 kanals of land belonging to overseas Pakistanis has been retrieved.
