Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal, on Monday (January 11), approved 1,505 uplift schemes for the province during a meeting held at the CM House – a news source reported. The CM was chairing the meeting to review Annual Development Programme 2020-21.

The meeting was also attended by the Provincial Minister for Communications Mir Arif Jan Mohammad Hassani, Parliamentary Secretary Information Bushra Rind, Chief Secretary Balochistan Capt. (R) Fazeel Asghar, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Abdul Saboor Kakar, Secretary S & GAD Mohammad Bilal Jamali, Secretary Finance Khan Buledi Saleem Awan, Secretary Building Ghulam Ali Baloch, Secretary Information Shah Irfan Gharshin, Commissioner Quetta Division Asfandyar Kakar and other senior officials.

The meeting was briefed by Balochistan Chief Secretary on the various development projects in the city. He informed the meeting that PKR 55 billion have been released for the ongoing and new uplift schemes.
He added that out of the proposed 1,597 development schemes, 1,505 schemes have been approved by the relevant authorities.
