Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has given a 14-day ultimatum to the owners to regularise their illegal commercial buildings, according to news published on May 16. The orders were issued by RDA Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar.

Reportedly, the RDA DG Anwar had directed the concerned officials to conduct a survey of constructed commercial buildings that fall under RDA’s jurisdiction. After the survey, the illegal buildings have been shortlisted and the owners have been given a deadline to regularize these structures.

Sources claim that the owners have been asked to get their commercial buildings corrigible by depositing regularisation fee with the RDA. The application to get the buildings regularised can be submitted to the RDA One Window Operation Centre, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, and e-Khidmat Markaz.
