Faisalabad: Punjab government’s Departmental Development Sub-committee (DDSC) has approved 13 major Water and Sewerage Agency (WASA) projects worth PKR 3.5 billion – a news source reported on January 12. These schemes fall under Chief Minister’s Punjab package for Faisalabad.

Speaking to the media on the matter, Managing Director WASA Jabbar Anwer Chaudhry thanked the Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the local provincial and national assembly members, and the various provincial and local departments involved into approval and execution of these projects.

He also expressed his determination to completely these projects in a transparent and timely manner. He also stated that WASA is determined to provide the best sewerage and water related services in the city and hoped that following the completion of these 13 major projects, the citizens will see a further radical change in the quality of WASA services in the city.
