Bahawalpur: The Cholistan Development Authority (CDA) has retrieved more than 1,100 acres of state land from land mafia in Cholistan and action has been taken against 126 grabbers, a news source reported. According to the authority sources, 357 people have occupied 4,470 acres in the desert.
Action has been taken against 126 of these grabbers, while the remaining are yet to be evicted. The operation is in full swing in the desert, and land would be retrieved. 94 of the occupants have obtained stay orders from courts, these people occupy 2,430 acres altogether. The cases are being pursued in the courts by the authority.
