Lahore: The Special Economic Zone Committee of the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) added 11 more firms under the zone enterprise status to the M3 Industrial City, a news source reported.

The 11 firms included both international and domestic companies. As per sources, after this addition, the number of zone enterprise firms in the M3 Industrial City had jumped to 53. FIEDMC Chairman Mian Kashif Ashfaq stated that the added firms will contribute investment of billions of dollars during the first phase of their projects. He added that industries operating within the FIEDMC would have access to high-end infrastructure, support services, public facilities, and uninterrupted power supply.

Ashfaq also stated that the completion of M3 had restored the investor interest. He highlighted the incumbent government’s efforts for facilitating investment and ease of doing business. He said that economic indicators of the country had improved and the government will soon announce relief packages for the underprivileged people.
