Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan on Friday directed the officials concerned to formulate a plan within 10 days for the provision of civic amenities in Regi Model Township in Peshawar, according to news sources.

As per an official statement, these directions were issued during a meeting. The officials concerned reviewed progress on the provision of facilities like gas, power, recreational facilities, education, healthcare establishments, and security protocols in Regi Model Town.
Moreover, the meeting was informed that 70% pf payments have been made against the land purchase for the township, whereas work is underway to clear the remaining 30%.

CM Mahmood directed the police and Frontier Constabulary officials to see to the provision of security personnel to improve the security of the locality. Additionally, he issued directions for the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) to ensure timely completion of the construction of grid station and transmission lines for unhindered power supply in the town.
Moreover, he issued instructions to the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) regarding the removal of encroachments from the area.
