Why is bahria lhr not as successful as in rawalpindi?
And is it a good investment to buy there?

Cheaper does not mean less successful. May I know what prices are you seeing in Lahore VS Rawalpindi? In Lahore the old / populated areas are also expensive.
Long term it can be good to buy in Lahore as well.

As Dha has stronghold in lahore I thought malik riaz would give something special to compete with dha lahore , as in rawalpindi Dha has to compete with bahria. Even Dha rahbar is in the same range as bahria.
You cant compare DHA Lahore with DHA Islamabad. DHA Lahore is way better, well organized & populated having good infra-structure & location. Similarly, You cant compare DHA Lahore with Bahria Lahore as well.
Bahria Lahore has done great job during last ten years but still needs lot of time to compete with DHA. Bahria Lahore prices are much higher than Bahria Pindi Phase 7 & 8 which were launched 11-years ago. Infra-structure development, construction of houses, flow of population in Bahria Lahore is better than Bahria Rawalpindi.
This is just my assessment, may be I am wrong.
Rates are not the meter to justify the success. We should look at files that have been sold and construction over there. I think that is not a flop project and you can invest over there. We are working as construction company and interior designing for several years and would like to help you out in this if you need our services.
@ Irfan Bahria is good no doubt and has chances of improvement.
