I have 4 million rupees for investment. Can someone advise me about the best place to invest in Islamabad region. I am interested in buying a residential plot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Consider one of the following;
1) get one 5090 plot in f-17 t&t
2) get one 6090 plot in d-18 echs
3) get one 30*60 plot in b-17 block C
Make a market assessment, consider other members suggestions and make a research on your own and only then decide, wish you best of luck.

@imran. Both are fine, i find no issues with d-17 and e-17, one can invest safely with these two societies. It is just a matter of potential and long/short term investment. In my humble opinion, after first three options, these two will be next options, but for me the priority starts from 1-5.In d-17 i think u can get a 30*70 size plot in 40 lacs, but in the same price just one mile away, in d-18, you can get 60*90 plot. But of course d-17 is much more populated than d-18. If possible try to visit these areas and only then decide.

You may consider 8 marla old files of Bahria Enclave available around 39 to 41 lacs in the market.
B-17 C Block is also a good option.

Numbers have been allotted on new map (final map released last week). They are still no possession.

Actually am interested to build a house there can you tell me will it be four or three bed house.

Partial possession can be within an year, but then you must be lucky to get plot in that sector which is most likely to get possession early. Minimum it will be 50 lacs at the time of possession. Rest Allah knows better about future.

Risk factor is always there in real estate non possession areas. There are no restrictions on number of beds, unless you are trying to build hostel/ hotel.

Some dealers are claiming that the 8 marla posession is starting in august 2014 in bahria enclave?can someone please through some light on this news please?they are asking for 4 million for 8 marla and telling me that once posession starts the price will go up.My only concern is that if they are so sure about the price hike in the next few months then why are they not waiting for it rather than selling it to me and making less profit as compred to the profit they could potentially make after posession.
Any analysis/ suggestions would be appreciated.

As I have already told that partial possession is very much a possibility in August but not all.... So this is important catch in it....
Overall possession will take some more years... Dealers will always tell you good stories. People are selling for various personal reasons, so, you can't say that why they are not waiting for profit.
