I am looking forward to buying a house in Karachi. I am not sure about the location. I've a budget of 12 million. I do not want to but an apt or portion and top priority is safety (for obvious reasons)!

You looking for area security or home security? Area security means you can travel safely from your house to your workplace safely which means avoid clash point areas.robbery still happens in such area so you can take home security service for home.home security wise go for Cantt area but problem is your range.Also Malir Cantt is secured but its surrounded by disturbed areas.IN 12 mil you can get 400 yards house in Jauhar (only on corridor 3 or till Jauhar Chowrangi areas),200 or 240 in Gulshan Iqbal and 120 yds in PECHS, Bahadurabad or surrounding areas.
Thanks for the prompt reply I wasn’t expecting. what’s a reasonable budget to acquire a 300 to 400 yds house preferably having house security in 1st place and area security too if possible (isn’t this a luxury to ask for?).
If you looking for 300 or 400 yds house in your said range, than only in Gulistan Jauhar is possible. Block 15 and 16 are best but not possible in your range.avoid block 12, 18, 19, 13 also 14 now (ask me in email why). Block 1, 2 and 3 possible but shops are rare and public transport none.check block 4 and 7 both on corridor 3 so stays always open by rangers and in your said range you can even get double story house there. Better you mention your priorities in details. Home security cost you Rs 1500/month and guards patrol cars stationed near Sheikh Zayyed center so quick response in no time.
