SAADI, the asking price seem unreasonable. I do not think plots are traded this high. There is positive price growth in G-13 for sure, but no that big jumps. Or maybe there is some inside news you are not sharing with us.

@ Isloo…Sir i have no inside news…These demands are insane and may be he just want to test the market and do not want to sell it…I do not think so that plots are being traded at this rate…General trading rate is 6 to 6.8 million…KH factor may add some value to it on its inauguration.
Nadeem, there is general slow down in Islamabad property market and there is a complete silence everywhere, which could be a sign of upcoming storm. But right now, everyone and everything is standstill in frozen state, and that includes Zone 1 (CDA) sectors. However, for housing needs, genuine buyers keep the market in G-13/14/15 and D-12 alive, that’s why prices are sliding up despite the recession. However, there are no signs of price hike, and the above OLX post seems a hoax.
Sudden increase of 5 to 7 lacs on 25x40 plot in G13 in just 2 weeks time seems to be a price hike to me.nd still increasing

I think its too late to enter G-13 market. The prices has gone unrealistically too high and might not sustain on current levels. Buying a 25X40 plot on above 60 lacs makes no sense to me.
Nevertheless, what is experts opinion about buying a shop in G-13 commercial areas. Any idea about its size, price and rental value.
Please share your thoughts? Will it be a good investment?

I think it is a very good investment to buy shops in commercial areas of G-13......Specially G-13/4 and G-13/1 as both these sectors a closer to Kashmir highway...What is more you have a wide variety of options to chose from...A good small shop in G-13 Market would cost around Rs.16,000 Rs.18,000 per month whereas, a good office could available for Rs.12,000 per month.....

Rent of 18000 per month ? thats nothing, I mean its not a good value for money if one invests in buying a shop.
Whatever is going on in G-13/14, shouldn’t it also start going on in G-15/F-15?

Any news about G-13 Markaz? When will it start coming up? I am interested to buy a shop or two but there are no signs of sale or construction in G-13 markaz.
