My mother sold an apartment back in 2016, due to temporary ban for sale deed, the buyer gave us 175,000 less than full and final settlement of agreed amount. We gave him the possession of flat along with file, however registry on his name is not yet done.
It has been more than 2 years that i am asking him to pay back the remaining balance amount of rs. 175,000 and let the contract complete. But he is constantly giving lame excuses since long, like sale deed / registry cost is high, i do not have enough money at the moment, wait for a month etc.
I wanted to know, what legal action we can take against him to recover the balance amount.
