I have heard that there is no proper drainage system in Bani Gala - Is it true? Are there any other issues there?
I have the same question!!!
it seems like a best place to live , as its very close to main Islamabad....prices are very reasonable ...lush green
40 lacs for Imran Khan side of bani gala and 75-80 lace for Dr AQ Khan side behind Rawal Lake.....
???
But no drainage? Are you kidding me?
Yea its true. I visited bani gala a couple of months back. There is no drainage or sewerage system there. You have to dig a deep well and all the drainage and sewerage lines will be heading there.
Salman is rite.
No proper severage system plus the access issue as u have to pass thru very narrow road which is a security concern, one of my friend living there no proper transport system available and after dark reaching home is a risky task.
Cheers,
Yes, you are rite, their is no proper planning or implementation even if their is a plan, for sewarage and drainage, which irks the residents and they had to suffer everyday.
Banigala had another problem. What will happen to it when it's more and more populated with passing years. I have been a visitor to it since 2004. Rush is increasing at school/office times and a lot of space available for new home makers.
Gas is also a problem in some areas.
I am afraid the area is also deprived of street lights and road signs. I have assumed it since bani gala is deprived of the basic township need of sanitation and sewerage.
Frankly speaking, its a rural area. Literally looks like a village (beautiful and pollution free) but on the other hand the access road is too narrow and rough, its unplanned, gas is not available in most parts of it. The rates of the plots are based on the houses of “big guns” living over there. The most expensive place is the street where tariq fatmi and ahsan iqbal are living. The second expensive place is where the retired generals are living :). However on top of all the prices there are nothing compared those in the rest of Isb
If that is so bad there to live thn why Imran khan, Dr qadeer, sumaira malik, Faryal talpur, Khurshid kasuri and many other famous people chose to live there.
The only problem i see there is the narrow road from Dr Qadeer khan side entrance to bani gala. Other wise its such a peaceful area i have been living there for 2 years.
We didnt say its a bad place. Gas ka issue ha aur unplanned hai. All the guys you mentioned have their houses on acres. We are talking about common people
In the first place, the government shouldn’t have allowed massive constructions in Bani Gala unless a proper sewerage system was in place. Now that Bani Gala is very much there, the government should do something to protect the beauty of this area. I hope the sewage is not going to the Rawal Lake!!
Big guns can afford a lot of things in such areas. They do not have much issue of security due to army of servants when family is alone at house. They can afford kerosine oil based heating systems. They can have generators.
They do not need to drive vehicles to such areas.
