I want to construct a double story house on 30x60 plot with basement. I want to know the complete charges with/without material. Secondly i want to know that what is the minimum amount in hand required to build at least complete structure only.

Sir with material the contractor can charge u between 1400 to 2500 rs per sqft depending upon the materials and design u choose.But if u construct it by yourself you can surely save a big amount.Without material for upto structure(finishing excluded) u can can hire a contractor for round about 140 rs per sqft.

Secondly what if i use blocks instead of bricks. What will be the pros and cons if i use blocks instead of bricks. It will effect the worth of house or not?

Sir th per sqft price of basement is a bit different from the rest of the two floors.And if u have the good budget,dont go for blocks.Always use good quality bricks.
