Is jumbolon board water resistant? Do we need to apply waterproofing coating on the walls/roof before stuffing in jumbolon board?
No Jumbolon board is heat resistant not water proof. Water proofing will be required accordingly.

If you can elaborate on water proofing in regards to insulation, it will be very helpful as i am planning to construct my house.
Simple Method. Bitumen,plastic sheets,mud and tile with tip or pcc.
Proper Water Proofing: Waterproofing chemical layer on RCC slab and then normal procedure...
You can adopt any of the above....
@Ehsan Normal simple way without Insulation can be done less than Rs.100/sq ft.
With Thermopore it can be around Rs.120/sq ft
With Jumbolon sheets it can be around Rs.150/sq ft.
