Asalam o Alikum dear members, I have 1 Kanal plot in DHA Commoners Town in Block .. And I want to built my home in G-13 so it is a right time to sell my plot or purchase in G-13? Or wait?
Kindly give me an advise what is better for me?
You will only benefit from delaying purchasing in G13 if Ex Commoners Town was going to increase in price at a faster speed than G13. If both increase by the same rate then you would be better off buying in G13 now. It is difficult to predict the future but if you have decided to build your house in G13 then I would not worry about making or losing an extra few lacs, and the sooner that you build the cheaper it will be for you given the inflation in Pakistan.
Sell it when you are ready to build. Dont rush until you find a very good deal in (i) sale of Ex Commoner Town, and (ii) purchase in G-13.
I suspect Ex Commoner Town will rise faster in the medium term (2-3 years). G-13 may rise faster in the short term (1 year).
Thanks mr arshad and pk 1 well i hear from different dealers that dha will rise in next few months but on the other hand g.13 prices stands still about last few months till the completion of highway..so my question is should i buy in g.13 or wait for commners town?
Based on what you have stated you are better waiting. But you can never really tell as the market is unpredictable. I mean who would have thought that prices would jump and more than double in some areas all of a sudden.

You said you want to build your house in G-13, Prices in DHA will increase in future but G-13 is in CDA and it will also increase, you can yourself know the difference between a plot and a house. I would recommend you to sell DHA Commoner’s Town plot and build your house in G-13.
With reference to above comments and replies if both G13 and DHA Commoner has same value and you want to built a house then its all depends on you to decide weather you go with the same or replace the society....
If you want to build for investment purposes then you can wait and if for your own residential purpose then you rush to build the house as building materials are rising on daily basis.....
