So what has been the update on the elusive Margalla Avenue after initial announcement for the millionth time ?

Any impact on B17 prices?. I can see there is a boom in the the market everywhere you look. Has it happened in B17 yet?

As I said first among all that we welcome after 2 decades property boom.
Wonder why ONLY B-17 is hydraulically jacked up by respected members??
Other areas, as I have wrote recent, appreciating out of the roof, too.
DHA-5 bigger plots have been appreciated minimum 50 lacs and maximum 80 lacs for the last 6 months or so. Here a 5 marla reached 70 lacs and still veerana??
Mumtaz city is on my way and houses additions has almost doubled if you compare its stalled construction in last year!
Same goes for bahria phase-8 extension, DHA-3/2.
Even Naval Anchorage plots appreciated but that also goes to the best school, being run by Pakistan Bahria, which has surpassed all schools including FGs in twin cities. This school has a University like wast building and stands matchless on education, cleanliness and from all educational aspects.
Only B-17 exclusivity is not valid as most of the societies are witnessing boom!

Sir that’s what I am saying. While everyone else is making money , B17 investors are not , at least not as much as others have done over the last 10 years. Also even during this boom , B17 is lagging behind , yet people say it’s a good investment.

Sir, everyone has a right to sell/advertise his/her product but for the sake of making things straight, corrections to be voiced up.

Black money is being white and it has happened before when the same amnesty was carried out....again my 2 cents...

This much hike is sure artificial....extreme care must be taken and an exit is the best strategy...if plots are not developed or files or in veeranas!

That is why i say B-17 is safer investment because its not a veerana, and its prices are almost same as of those veerana plots. As its getting more populated day by day. Markets, schools are being developed very quickly. So may be a less margin but a still a safer investment than other veeranas. A small investor like me who is investing his whole life savings and doing it on a part time. Its better to invest in a safer place rather than try to get huge margins without so much in depth knowledge and no exit plannings.

That's true. I think B-17 is way undervalued due to its shady past (pump and dump, and dealer's game)!!!! I think Margalla avenue will be a game changer. I am not into politics, but the truth is NHA has completed many projects in the last two years which they did not touch in the last two three decades... I am positive that its happening at last!!!!

You are right Muhammad sb, a built up property in a good society is in a rwo to go high.
Today more good incentives announced by Imran govt (no dirty politics comments pls from respected members)!
Imran is bad or worthless, selected ...let us do not go into it.
If B-17 like other properties started rising instantly, then why not invest there.
Construction activity has surely started increasing.
In phase-8, L block , last 10 days are so some 12 houses started together and when we bought plot there was only one house most nearly located!
Sector M and almost all other sectors construction pace is clearly visible.
