Suggest a fair dealer please...

On the authority of Salman (ra), it is reported that the Messenger of Allah said:

"There are three types of people to whom Allah will not speak and neither will He bless them and for them is a severe torment. They are: (i) The white-haired old adulterer; (ii) the arrogant beggar; and (iii) the one who makes Allah as his merchandise: he does not purchase except by swearing (by Allah S.W.T) and he does not sell except by swearing (by Allah S.W.T)." (Narrated by At-Tabarani, with an authentic Sanad)

Any body in this forum suggest me a dealer in Islamabad who is fair. I want to buy a property for my self and sell 2-3 plots of my brother who is out of country. I promise 1% commission. No bargain on commission.

Dear kamran Go to any of your reference and simply tell him conditions he will definitely oblige you as 1 percent commission is more then enough for any dealer if he is fair don't go for very famous names. And one thing else simply talk to them that you will give them one percent but you will close the deal with the seller or buyer. People are purchasing of millions on daily basis i don't know y u r that conscious if you cant trust any one then simply do one thing. Give your add in Jung news paper and sell it directly don't involve any dealer just try it. After one sale or purchase you will better understand duties of a dealer :) This is a good idea try it.:) any thing for me i am always there.

First of all people should be capable themselves to judge between right and wrong because no-one in this world bears a certificate of truth on forehead. Secondly, I would suggest you to visit the listing pages on our portal that carry the record of properties on sale within your area to have an insight of the prices.

And lastly, you can contact the listed agents for further information.

You are right that people should be capable themselves to judge. But i think every one is not expert in all the fields. For example when we get ill we visit doctors and he suggests us medicine for our illness and suggest what should we eat and what not.

Self medication is not good so we need specialist doctor. Same in my opinion is the duty of Dealer he is expert of the field and he charge for that. 1% from both the parties is handsome amount. So i think dealer's duty is to suggest pros and cons of the property.

Here i do not want to blame any of our dealer brothers actually i want to discuss black sheep and black sheep are every where. And unfortunately due to some of us our whole society is blamed.

I think with the help of this forum and some fair persons like Syed Abraham we will find the why to create a group of reliable dealers. In last i want to tell that why i concern about fake deals because few of my very close friends suffer huge losses in last property boom era.

In stock market every 2-3 years thousands of people lose their entire savings in few days. In 2005 and in 2008 stock market were crashed and that was done by the top brokers and black sheep of our society.

I agree with Syed Ibrahim, it is a nightmare to sell or buy without agent. A good agent helps in ensuring that you are not cheated and guides you through the process.

P.S = I am an investor, not an agent, so I have nothing to gain by saying that you should use the agent.

No doubt dealer's role is very important and they deserve their commission. Their role is not only a middleman role but also they are expert and their experience and guidance is very important for any investor or buyer/seller. But unfortunately most of the dealers are not playing their actual role.

I am playing with stocks since 1993. I know how they manipulate the market and trap small investors. Any one who invest in stocks and in property easily compare the dealers of both fields. But exceptions are always there. There are few good dealers in both the fields.
