I have asked this question some time ago as well. Just want to know what's the latest with green city Islamabad at the moment??
Does anyone know what's the status of development in green city (Islamabad) near new Islamabad airport? There are many ads coming up these days about development work in green city (Islamabad). Also people are getting letters to make rest of payments for their plots.

Dear brother tafseer, Green city is a dead project for now, i have invested there so i know. Development work is going on there but at very very slow pace, only have around 3-4 machines. There was management issues that have been resolved hence development was delayed and started late. Its a huge project for them in my opinion which will not be completed any time soon. Its a very very long term investment! For 10 marla plot prices are from 4-9 lakhs (development fees all inclusive) dependant upon location. yes we received letters regarding making our development payments. most investors do not have the patience with this project so decided to sell at a loss, but its always been a long term investment due to its location and road access. Prices have increased a little in the past 6 months due to price hike in zone 2.

Just to clarify tafseer saab, Green city is a far away from pechs not really close as they are making out to be hence people have very little interest in this project as a result. The only reason why investors had bought plots here many years ago along with myself is due to very cheap prices, however, due to management issues the project is pretty dead for now and its not a big brand name. There powerful marketing is what got people to book plots otherwise no one would dare to buy anything there.
