Shall i use natural stone tiles or ceramic tiles for my floor in my new hou

The cost & durabiliyu plus suitability of tiles for floors & walls

High quality natural stone is recommended. As it is long life while ceramics tiles has certain life span. Stone has more grace.

Thanks Zahid Bhai, you know people are using ceramic tiles now a days, it looks fabulous when new, but you are right, we must go for durability

Secondly, can you please give your suggestion regarding the interior designers for house.

Actually I have completed the grey structure now wants to start the plaster etc. Do you suggest the use of interior designers for rest of the work?

Yes stone is excellent but avoid too much granite for stone as it is radioactive. On staircases it is OK but whole house to be avoided.

Very important: Use chemical polish and use the best quality money can buy. You will never need re-polishing for the next at least 15 years, if you do not wash it with detergent or any soap based cleaner or de-greaser.

I would recommend natural stone for durability and beauty, but if a lower budget is a higher priority for you, go for ceramic tiles.

Agree with Abdul Qayyum sab natural stone is 100% better than ceramic tiles.

Good natural stone like Parlino marble clear without any spot up to 130 to 180 sq ft for floor.

Thanks brothers, Jazak Allah Khair

Stones are forever and tiles are trendy. So choose a mix and match.

Stairs: preferably granite, otherwise marble
Bedrooms: wooden floor or tiles
Dining: wooden floor or tiles
Kitchen: tiles
Drawing/lobby/lounge: marble (if you don't want to change ever) otherwise tiles for 4-5 years.
Walls: tiles only

If giving on rent, then most definitely tiles, it is easier to replace.
