Sector B-17 block A

Hi,

I am following developments in Sector B-17. However I found out that there is a very little or no activity in Block-A. What is the reason? Is that a bad block to invest / live? Why is there so less sale & purchase compared to block B and C. How are the prices of 1 kanal plot in Block A (near to green belt)?

What is the opion of experts here. Please let me know.

Thanks.

Dear Sam,

A block is behind Taxila mountain. Blasting is the main problem in that mountain. A block is cheap just because of that blasting which makes noise and air pollution. thats why people are avoiding a block

Thank you for the answer. This means that plots even infront of the green belt 404 - 415 for example are not good. I have heard that they are the best location plots? Can you please advise?

Thanks.

Another reason can be that it is a smaller sector than B and C (so less plots) and it consists of large size plots only (less market for them).

Yes Arshad, that can be a reason.

Block A is on filled land.

Hi All,

I surveyed the area and it doesn't appear to be on filled land. In fact the plots are developed in a very structured way and as Mr. Arshad mentioned, all of them are big sized plots so it appears that after this community is developed, A block might become a VIP block. Also I have heard that the new Margalla Avenue will connect to A block. What is you opinion about purchasing in A block for investing/living purpose in future. Also I liked the plots that are in front of green belt on very wide road 404 - 415. Are these the best plots in A Block?

Kindly let me know your expert opinion.

There is about 1 million rupee price difference between block A ad B kanal plot. What you think why this price difference is there? Block A is very beautiful and near Dam. But due to filled landt price is down there. Minning is one of the reason but society claims that in 2012 minning will finish.

Could that be because B Block started first and there are many houses already developed there with Gas & Electricity, but there is still no development in A Block? I am hoping that prices of A block will be similar to B block (in 2 - 3 years) once constuction of houses start there which makes it more attractive for investment at this time. But that's just my opinion.

What do you say about the location of plots I mentioned in my mail?
