Rush To DHA Or Not

Now a days DHA Lahore becomes hotspot for property buying. In last 3 months the prices increased more than 25% and its increasing on daily basis. Real estates are posting prices by increase 25 to 50 thousands on daily basis hence attracting buyers. In this scenario, is this wise to rush for these DHA properties or go for other one.

Is this bubble will not burst as of stock market.

Prices of real estate will increase further .just buy plots with possession and some construction of houses going on nearby this.Location of plot and reputation of housing society matters most in real estate.That’s my point of view, anybody could disagree though.

DHA lahore is a wonderful place to live in and in my optinion the ever finest society of Pakistan. There is no comparison of DHA lahore. If some one wants to buy a plot for personal residence I will say it will be one of his decisions he will not regret.

You're right, DHA Lahore is one of the most appreciated and sought after society. It has gained momentum in all phases but price increase has been different in different phases.

The highest gain and interest has been in DHA Phase 8 proper, it has gained around 40% in a quarter. And your statement holds true to it, everyday the price increases in thousands.

Phase 9 files have risen to 5+ million from 26 lac in Sept 2012

Phase 6 and 7 have been relatively modest in terms of gain.

Phase 5 has seen a decent increase too.

DHA is the most preferred choice in Lahore. Although Bahria town has been catching up too but its remote location puts off many

@MBS....The area of Bahria Town Lahore is better than DHA.

Bahria is close to Motorway access, Multan Road which gives quick access to Iqbal Town, Gulshan Ravi, Chauburji, Lower Mall, Govt College, Anarkali, Secretariat etc. It is also very close to the Main Artery of the city i.e. Canal Bank Road.

DHA is close only to the airport and also it is too close for comfort to the border.

Dear Pk1 How is bahria town nearer to these places than dha, even on google maps its no less than 30km to each of the mentioned places and yet am not considering the horrendous load of traffic on multan and canal road?

So if access is the definition of better location, it is not.

And if community/neighborhood is the definition, its not yet

And if brand recognition is the definition, not as good as dha in lhr

And if security of investment and buyer confidence is concerned, not as good as dha

However, the increasing trend of new developments on the southern side will fetch points in mid term.

And if the southern loop of ring road gets built up and goes thru bahria, yes it will greatly help it

but as of now, it does not have direct access to even multan road, its buffered by sukh chain and others and still people think twice before planning a trip to bahria town.

I agree with Mbs DHA lahore location/life style/Community has no comparison with Bahria town lahore which is still in its growing state. DHA lahore is a well matured society with a modern life style having all amenities of life in proximity.
