Chairman rda tariq murtaza has said that they were launching a campaign to remove the illegal societies from rawalpindi and its precincts. They have also written letters to pemra and state bank of pakistan to close down their ad campaigns and freeze their bank accounts. There are some big names among the 203 banned societies, including

And my concern is: would something come of it or just playing tom and jerry to pocket some money for themselves. An acquaintance told me that they had been playing these rough boys games of taking action illegal societies but at the end of the day, nothing happens. Realistically, what would happen in this case?
